The purpose of this interview was to delve into the lives of my Nana (Loretta Truppa) and Papa (Dick Truppa). Overall, both participants traced their literacy development from their early ages to current time. As they discussed their literacy, it was easy to see how gender greatly affected their diverse approaches to their educational development.
